If you want to know about this stuff, book mark big companies like Square-Enix, Blizzard, etc. And of course, it doesn't hurt to bookmark the smaller companies, as they release great games too, but small companies usually can't support MMORPG standards...
But it's not like you need another MMORPG for a long time anyways

Magazines. They'll make sure you're caught up on all the new stuff coming out.

Not really, this year's MMO boom started with EQ2 and pretty much ended with GW. From now on it's smooth sailing for a while, until Dungeons & Dragons online and Middle Earth: Online release.
